No new orders, sorry.

For the last year and a half, every now and then I'll get people emailing me asking if I can do some custom work for them. Maybe painting an action figure, or something similar. Up until now I've been happy to do this for people as it's a hobby I enjoy doing (I always enjoyed painting and drawing), and it helped pay for painting supplies for myself.

Unfortunately, as I can only work in short bursts during the day due to my epilepsy (had it since I was 12... just don't talk about it much), the list of things I said I would do for people grew and grew, until now it might take me between 6 and 12 months just to work my way through it! (it often takes me two weeks to paint a single head)

Because of this (and with the timing of my wedding shortly) I've decided that from now on, until further notice, I won't be taking on any new painting jobs for people, while I slowly work my way through the ones I've already agreed to do.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who's gotten in touch just to give me compliments on my painting work and custom figures. I'll still be posting pictures on here of new painted heads as I do them, so there'll still be plenty of stuff to look at.

If you were thinking of asking me to do something for you, then I'm sorry but I'll have to say no for the time being. I'll probably start up again once I've worked my way through my list, I enjoy this hobby far too much to stop it completely. Maybe when I'm back after I've got everything caught up I'll see if I can turn this from a hobby, into what I do for a living! (well there seems to be enough interest) Something for me to think about in the meantime. Thanks!

Read all about our honeymoon as it happens!

This is just a short post to mention our wedding and honeymoon blog. We've been making a few posts there during the last year, and will be hopefully making a few more leading up to the wedding in two weeks.

Once we're on our honeymoon (a road trip across america, coast to coast!) we'll be posting details there of our adventures and experiences, as we travel across the vast country. We can't wait to get there, it will be our first time in America, and it looks like an amazing place.

For those who are interested in our travel journal, we've made it easy for you. On that page there is an email subscribe box, similar to on this site. If you enter your email address into that, it will send you a message every time we write a new post from whatever State we happen to be in. Hopefully it will make an interesting read as we travel from coast to coast.

I've not had much time to paint or anything lately, with the wedding plans taking up pretty much all of our time... but once this is over things will be back to normal!

Hope you enjoy the wedding/travel journal. :)

Final custom figure sale - Darth Maul

After selling off Anakin, Obi-Wan, Aragorn, Legolas, Ben Kenobi and Luke Skywalker... today is the turn of my last remaining custom figure. Darth Maul. As usual the auction will run for 10 days... all in the name of raising funds for our (almost upon us!) wedding and honeymoon.

I hope it goes to a good home. Good luck with your bidding!
