Old Ben Kenobi - repainted

This is Sideshow's (brilliant!) old Ben'Obi-Wan' Kenobi figure from Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. This is one of their better figures that they've released, and even without anything done to it just looks AMAZING when it's on display on our shelf. The detail on the sculpt is unbelievable, as is the likeness. (Well done Trevor!)

You all know me by now though, and I can't leave anything alone for long.... so along with another one that I was doing for a customer, I repainted this head. Here's the results. It really shows off just how great this head sculpt is!

Enjoy!

YOUR BEST WORK EVER! That eye! You are really raising the bar buddy! I have yet to paint mine, and you make the whole point moot! Here lies the bar! Great job!
BY FAR your best paint ever. PLEASE keep this one and never sell him! You have a landmark here! Just beautiful workmanship. You make me envious and excited to try my hand all at the same time. Excellence!

That eye! That's Gold Medal work there!

oh i can not WAIT to see how you paint this... that's going to be something special.

I'm sorry to say, I've just put this up on eBay... the all consuming honeymoon strikes again. But trust me, I'll do another one next year... I loved painting this one, and it just looks so real on the shelf it's scary. Like a mini Alec Guiness.

The sculpt is phenomenal. Trev is a real find for Sideshow!
